Unfortuntely, the sky adds nothing to this and the lower right/bottom portion is too dark which leaves the mts. This could've been very nice if you had adjusted your exposure or used a filter. It also would have been nice had the sky been blue or perhaps some clouds would have helped. Were you shooting into the sun? |

Looks like a great view, have to agree with the others regarding the exposure .... I put together a little how to for one of ssocrates shots which may be useful in this case How to blend 2 exposures |

Beautiful landscape, but I agree with the light and the sky. |

I have to agree with what has already been said. There is too much contrast. The sky is blown and the foreground shadows are a bit too deep. The composition is very nice. This scene, with this lighting is a prime candidate for HDR processing. |

the panoramic approach here really seems to be necessary - this is some beautiful landscape - i just wish the light were a bit better on the valley and the sky not quite as blown - maybe a bit different time of day would be perfect for this place from a photography standpoint - as it is, the light seems a bit too harsh to really bring off the majesty of this vista that I am sure you saw live |

I am not experienced enough to really say...my first impression is that nothing seems to be in focus...and this is something that I am struggling with....when I use my long lens I am having troubles with my distant focus, getting the "crispness"...but you used a nice shorter lens. I like the tones on the left better than the right...it almost seems like you could cut this in half and have 2 different views, not knowing they were taken at the same time, the deep shadows on the bottom are distracting. |

It's a very nice view and I like the panoramic crop. I like how the mountains fade in the distance. To me it looks as though you might have boosted the contrast in PP a bit too much. This takes away from the "softness" of the setting and creates very harsh shadows. Perhaps you should try to desaturate the colours a bit and reduce contrast, to try and get more pastel-like colours.
I don't know how you focussed, but stopping down a bit from F4.5 to F8 or so, might have resulted in increased sharpness. There seems to be enough latitude in the shutter speed for this. |

there are few things wrong here, but take my words as my personal opinion.
the light: there is nothing more important than the light in a photograph, here i see the sky completely white and this is not good.
The foreground shadows are too closed, so i can't see details here and the sharpness here are very low.
is a pity because the scenery is wonderful
suggestion:
when there are too many differences of stop between foreground and the sky (for example, like in your photo) it would be better to use a degradant filter.
ehm.. sorry for my english!
