Nice shot Pat, I actually think the female cardinal gets a bum rap, they are just as beautiful imo. I love how their beaks stick out more against the brownish plumage. Well done and great snow captured as well! |

Very nice image. We have about two dozen cardinals around our feeders, the little females are beautiful. You've done an excellent job capturing this one.

Sharp and beautiful. Love the little snowflakes, and I also sort of like the little twigs crossing the bird in this. It gives it a dose of reality. |

Lovely shot, I like the tangle of branches as the background, but may have been tempted to clone out the ones dead center of the frame. |

It was hard on the birdies yesterday esp with the wind blowing like it did..
As striking as Mr. C's r really like Mrs. C.
Nice catch of the elusive C's... Am proud of you:) |

Pretty bird, and nice capture of the falling snow. Her beak even has snow on it. |

Another great shot! The snow coming down on this female seems to gives her that cold fluffed up appearance, and I do like her colouring. I was thinking I wouldn't mind having a sweater in those shades...hmmm :O) |

Beautiful! I really like photos with falling snow in them. It's going to be 80 degrees here today, so little chance of seeing it in person. The focus on the Cardinal is great, and I think the female is still very colorful and pretty. |

Good focus on the eye. She was hiding out a bit but who can blame her with that much snow? Our measly 3 inches is melting fast. |

very nice little bird, nice colors... but i do not like too centered subjects, also the branches, unfortunately, give annoyance. |
