Beautiful rich colour, and to have both male and female together is great. |

Gosh, what a beauty of a shot. Cardinals are of my favorites to catch a glimpse of. Each time I see one I consider myself lucky. Lucky to get a shot I could post myself, just once though. Having both bird parents in the shot here is just excellent. How about a title... The Mr.& Mrs.

Wow - those birds just pop against the background! The brown bird really sets off the red bird, and it's nicely framed. |

Beautiful bird(s), great capture. I suppose the little branch in front spoils it as a species catalogue, but it makes for a lovely picture. |

Very nice his and hers shot - they really look quite fancy against all that snow. |

Wonderful contrast, when I looked at the thumbnail I thought you had desaturated everything other than the birds, but it turns out those are the natural colours, great shot. |

Oh I miss my cardinals! None here in Albuquerque :(
Lovely pair - wish the female were in focus too, but hey, I know how hard it is to capture these guys! |

Beautiful. I like how the one in the back echoes the one in front, and the contrast with the snow. This one's a real winner. One minor thing...would it be possible to bring the front bird's eye out more? |

Very appropriate timing since the Cardinals are playing in the Superbowl tomorrow! :)
Beautiful shot and nice detail with the second Cardinal in the background. The sharpness is perfect. |
