The sun was shining on my desk and I took a few shots of this shell I got for my birthday.

I don't know why - but handily, it looks like it's illuminated from within.

Nik nik nik - no layers, though.

The little hermit crab that usually lives here has gone out, and left the lights on to discourage burglars. : )

First thing I thought was how in the world did you get a little light under that thing!!! Very cool, don't think I've ever seen such a neat trick! Should have saved one for the free challenge!
