The mark is a scratch on the paper background.
I tried holding the bottle myself, and spilt whisky on the card.
I got my wife to hold the bottle, but it wasn't steady enough.
So the back of the bottle is on a pile of books, with a rubber band round it to stop it from sliding off.
Then I couldn't read the label, so a cork inside the rubber band allowed me to adjust the position of the triangular bottle.
If anyone wants to see, I have the original, showing the setup.
Thanks for your votes, including one 10.

expensive too, there is a light scratch mark on the gray background...is it a hair on your lens/sensor? |

Hate it when that happens! Nicely lit shot. |

When my relationship ended I also turned to drink so I can really relate to this excellent image. Fortunately I eventually managed to conquer my drinking problem but it has left me with a warped sense of humor. |
