Looks cool with the filmstrip.

Not sure if I like the faded / washed-out look, but I respect your choice. Cool triptych and nicely unconventional.

The filmstrip overlay is very cool, what a great way to separate the series! The images are each very emotive and quite powerful as a collection. The milkiness is wonderful, reminds me of glass plate photography.

I agree that this could be disturbing, an almost emaciated subject but still a great image

I like the milkiness of this - intensity of emotion, but not really there - sort of like a veil or a dream.

I find this disturbing. But not in an entirely bad way, in a haunting way.

thanks! As i stated in the details field this was shot on 35mm film, so processing only included inverting, cropping (and arranging the 3 pieces so they'd align nicely with the "film border"), bumping up the contrast a bit and cleaning up some dust. Lighting came from a single strobe with a 120 by 30cm softbox attached from directly above if i remember correctly...
these were actually just experiments to test if the wireless system goes together with my strobe and the analog cam, but when i saw the negatives afterwards i thought they'd make a nice series.

Oh this is so great. Everybody has such a different approach. I really like the "dim" feel. Like he's possibly going to completely disappear off of the film strip. Does that make sense? Loving your creativity.
