 Thes sweet Mourning Doves like to perch in my English Oak tree in snow storms. There are usually several pairs together.

ahha .. this is where you're hiding pat ... with the wild things .. lol ..
you 'do' birds so beautifully and combined with that winter scene with the snow its a stunning image . i love it when bird's puff themselves up like that in the cold .. they are so cute .. :)

More of your doves, but with a quite different feeling to the last. The diagonal of the composition works really well. Really pleasing.

Lovely shot. The reflected light from the snow below them lights up their whole puffy little bodies. They are one of the most pleasant of birds to have around.

Beautiful composition and lovely soft warm colour.(The only thing that would be warm, no doubt.) This would make a lovely Christmas card.

Boy, do they look cold! Serious feather pouf going on there. I ofetn wonder why they don't huddle together, but maybe that wouldn't help.
