undieyatch: I guess - a football/soccer match riot aftermath. Stadium seats - some ajar & broken as the glass frame.
ubique: So much interest ... the smashed glass (well, presumably it's plastic), the smashed seats, the wonderful seat color sign. And what could this place be? The rake of the seating seems too flat for a sports arena ... how would you see past the big guy with the taxi cab ears in front of you? And what is that weird symbol on the wall just down right from the Rest Rooms sign? Is it a human leg? Maybe this is a gladiator stadium?
All that absorbing detail compensates for the greyness of everything. Well, nearly.
posthumous: This reminds me of RKT. For some reason, I think "Nostalgia for Cynicism." It's spooky and compelling. I want a series.
chromeydome: This is close to greatness--the processing has resulted in a dull, "muddy" gray tone dominating the scene. Some different processing here might work, and I kinda want to see this in a pale, old school color image.
Kali: This would be a cool image for selective desaturation of a man sitting in the upper right corner of the center seats in a blue coat.
digifotojo: The subject matter isn't esthetically pleasing but there is obviously a message conveyed here.
Les_Feck: I have an affinity for HDR images and I like this particular one. Well seen. I would be thrilled if I had found this location and taken this shot.
However, my opinion, as evidenced by the scores I receive when entering contests here, is lacking.
Bear_Music: I like that the image has no color but the sign instructs us on how to proceed. I hate the processing, the very flat tone mapping or whatever it is, especially in the artifacts it creates on the sign itself.
LydiaToo: Very interesting. I like the BW... especially since one can read the colors.
