Yes, the duck is centered, but I like how all the other elements "frame" it. Very little processing -- nothing in RAW, then played with saturation just a touch, resized.

Oh man. . .if ever rules were meant to be broken, this is it. . .and lots of other times too. I personally think the "centered" rule is made much to much fuss over. There are aLOT of photos that look better centered. I break that rule all the time.

Loving ducks and geese like I do, this photo makes me so happy to look at. I want to be there connecting with them giving them flour tortillas like I do "my" geese every day :)

They seem to be quite content and well feed geese. Despite the messes they make, I like seeing them in the parks.

Break out some bread and they will mob ya. Little too harsh on the light, but I like the framing too.

Yup Judi, that's because it's a Canada Goose (LOL) - guess they snuck in over the border! Used to have so many in Wichita.

Nice "day in the life" kind of shot.

Almost seems like a gang about to make some trouble :) I like the light here, it's a bit bright, but seems very suitable.

This is a scene most people see regularly...although my geese look a bit different lol.

Yes, I know it is a goose. I was in a hurry.

Nice shot but that is a goose not a duck
