 RAW conversion with Photoshop Elements 6.0 to B/W, crop, rezize x 2, flatten, USM.
This was shot through the glass of the gorilla enclosure. Also, a tripod was used. The gorilla was watching her newborn play with her older sister. It was a cloudy overcast day but the gorilla was under an overhang they use for shelter with man made lighting within it. The image was greenish in its original color RAW form but I converted it to B/W since it was a monotone like green cast to the whole image. A 1.4x extender was used on the 70-200f2.8 lens.

I like how this goes from black on one side to almost white on the other,and yet has a chrisp image of the ape.
