Another abstract courtesy of my son's wrecking yard.
These are macros of burnt car paint.
Both photos have had exactly the same processing.
usm, brightness/contrast,duplicate layer blending options overlay 50%, equalize, brightness/contrast again, posterize level 6, flatten image. 1st image copied to clipboard. Opened second, repeated everything, canvas size, paste 1st image, border, resize - computer crash and had to do it all again, stw.

I think these would be awesome on huge prints.
Also, that mettalic paper from Mpix.
Wondering... whats equalize? Also, you use the posterized image as an overlay? what purpose? Some interesting processing tips that i don't recognize! |

shit .. computer crash .. worst nightmare ... i save all the time just in case ..
