It does meet the challenge
I think you made a mistake by not putting the image number in the title because only after seeing the original it is possible to really appreciate this photo, otherwise the unapealing texture of te skin kind of bothers too much (but then I realized the original has the same kind of texture which gives additional value to this image).

| What amazing eye you have! Incredible sharpness and detail on the iris and outer lashes. The skin could have used a touch of softening (but not oversoftening). The upper lashes are just too "head-on". Could have benefited from a crimping tool or a slightly lower angle. |
