 Rain all weekend, no chance to get out. This is a calla lily in the backyard. Oddly, this was the first shot I took after a day of shooting in the studio, and the camera was still on manual. But it just happened to be the right exposure.

Post processing:

* Increase the contrast (especially darken the darks) in Lightroom
* Sharpen the heck out of it.
* In Photoshop, curves layer, soft light mode, 20% opacity.
* Curves layer, multiply mode, 50% opacity, just on parts of the leaf in the background.
* resize, sharpen, sfw

Very nice and I like the water drops. My only nitpick would be the mostly centered composition; perhaps a bit of tilt would make it a bit stronger. Just my opinion, of course.

Oh how pretty!! Lucky I live in Texas where we can see pretty flowers like this in February too. I think it might make most of our snowed in friends cry tho :)

I like the contrast between the flower and background. This is super clean, very nice.

Very pretty and sharp. Not so sure about the center crop and positioning, but it does seem to work here :)

Turned out very nice all the way to the tip of the flower. Maybe a completely black background?
