these photographs were taken in the early morning from just outside our back door .. the kangaroos are wild and go thru our fences quite easily ..
because it wasnt light i took these shots at iso 1600, 1/60th second .. i thought i'd made the aperture as wide open as it would go but looking at the file info now i see that i didnt .. i could'v gone to f3.5 ..
when downloaded the details in the original jpegs were nearly obscured coz they were so dark ..
this is after totally boosting the exposure in my raw program ..

i nearly deleted the lot, but because i really liked the action i thought i'd try and salvage a couple for a diptych ..

this is not a common occurance either and if we do see them close to the house it is usually too dark to capture them on film/digial .. when its not so dark they are mostly too far away ..

Wow. They are positively alien! The photo on the far right The processing and grainy quality make me think of the days of early photography. Great job.

the center image really makes the whole thing. Nice job taking what you thought might be junk and turning it into this.

Ha ha ha they make me smile. The looks like they are doing some secret dance. Maybe grainy with not much detail but I think that is what adds to the charm of the sequence. All I have here is gators.

Gosh, you've worked wonders here. What looked like a dud has given you a great triptych. ( Have you ever taken a really, truly unsalvageable dud? )
