Well, the original is two ducks swimming on a pond, this one's two ducks at the edge of a pond, and it's an improvement at least insofar as lighting, color, and exposure goes, so you are answering the challenge. Unfortunately it's not an improvement at all as far as composition goes, the really interesting part of the image (the flapping wings) is almost indecipherable in the clutter, so it's sort of a wash. Because you're answering the challenge precisely and have some areas of improvement, a 5 from me.

Definitely better than the original, but maybe could still use a little more oomph and sharpness. The ducks don't quite stand out against the background much. I suppose that is natural camouflage in action!
