I can't understand why this didn't do better.

By comparison this excellent picture got a 6.8 and a ribbon. Maybe it's a cultural thing.

Very simple but perfectly done. I think it's more artistic then many of the photos in this challenge. Saving to favs and giving it a 10.

Coming back to comment on this. It is so simple and yet so striking. It reminds me of a painting a friend of mine did once. Certainly one of my favourites in this FS.
