Sigh, first two ideas did not pan out.

The first idea had some funny outtakes but since the bell is slightly overexposed in spots and since there is no spot editing allowed it cannot be corrected to my satisfaction. Also it did not match what I had visualized: Brownie holding the fortune cookie and looking at the camera. This is about as close as I got. Still not happy with it.


The second shot...well THAT was an exercise in frustration!:-) Brownie as a Circus Performer standing on a ball! Yeah right! More details here


This was the last idea I had...not overly thrilled with it for it bears some simularities to the previous shot of O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? My youngest daughter told me that since I had her gerbil work so hard and that I worked so hard I had BETTER enter one of the shots:-)! At least Brownie was happy to run around in a larger space and got fed - I got a crick in the neck.

But I do like the humor - so where DO socks go that have been put in a drawer. I usually like to work with ISO 50 but had to bump it up because this little critter moves fast and does not stay still for long.

What coaxed her to crawl in? Yup, you bet there is food in that little jewelry box drawer! Shoot took over an 30 minutes to do before she discovered and went back several times to collect the food.

Prediction: 5.7 or 5.8

Ahahahah I have one of those too. I nearly entered a picture of it,but instead entered a picture on my cat. I entered some outtakes of our mongolian gerbl in the comments of my entry, look after the challenge .
