Great idea!!! IMO would score much higher if the background/floor was pure white (could be done with some background lights... You can see my entry for the Personification challenge, I took a pic of some peanuts... I had trouble getting the ground/background pure white, so I used a medium softbox from above to flood the peanuts and background/floor with light so that the background and floor turn pure white, i'm still giving you a 7/10 because it's a great idea!

I like the concept but the lighting on this one seems a tad flat. Nice job carving the apple too. 6

you need more light, sharper focus. Also you probably should have covered the cut out apple with pure lemon juice to prevent browning.

Great idea! The lighting is really flat though.

Great execution of the set, especially that carving. Lighting is well done also. Post processing is letting it down a little, I'm afraid. It comes off as a bit on the dull side to me. I popped it into my editor to see for myself and some quick adjustments really made this one very good. I'd give it a 4 if I had only taken only a 3 second glance, but you did so well with the setup of this, that I have to give it a 6 to recognize the good job on the setup.

Good shot.. probably would suggest making the whites whiter.

Interesting idea. I don't particularly like the oxidation in the apple and the background might be better if it were brighter. 5
