Excellent macro, your composition and lighting give this a nice vortex feeling, which leads my eye right into it. |

I like the idea of an apple macro. This is pretty effective. I like the level of detail.
I spent two weeks once, trying to reproduce this.
I learned a lot about lighting and lens focal lengths, and a little about apples. Apparently there are apples with fuzzy skins (although I couldn't find one then), and the water beads up on them better. A fuzzy skin might look better in a macro shot, too. |

Interesting angle and nice colours. Seeing the core close up makes it look pretty gross! |

I like the angle....a little more focus needed on the subject though. |

Oooooh. . .this is so inspiring. It makes me wish I would have gotten my macro lens out and tried something like this. This is great. You must have something reeeeeallly good in the challenge!

Cool macro. I agree with the yellow removal, at the very least on the water and stem. |

This looks like it has a wee bit of a yellowish indoor-light cast to it - you may want to try a slight color adjustment to remove some of the yellow and see what you think. |

Focus is a bit too soft for most DPC voters but I like it! |

I like the composition and water drops. The focus seems a bit too soft so I am not sure this would have scored much higher than mid-5 range for the challenge. |

This a very nice one! Perhaps too little "whow", but I think this would do well in the Apple challenge (didn't looked at it yet). Curious now about your entry! |
