The scene on top is on the other side of the railroad tracks you see at the bottom, just a few steps from one another. I did a BW conversion in Silver Efex Pro and then adjusted hue/saturation with sepia then added a grunge layer/border.

Love the windmill so perfectly framed by the trees, and the train tracks give a great feeling of travel. I love Texas! When we talk of moving from New Mexico someday, TX is usually at the top of the list :-)

Great combination of disparate views in adjacent locations. The perspective in the bottom image is brilliant, and inviting. For some reason Australians rhink of those windmills as being Australian. They are obviously not just ours.

must say i'd love to come to texas .. and you've made it look so inviting despite the dark ominous feel .. lol .. could be just me who feels it tho ..:)
great the way you've led me right up into that excellent scene with the windmill .. love the train tracks leading me there and the gate .. i'll just open it and skip on thru ... lol ..
i'm starting to feel like alice in wonderland .. !!:)
