Nice shot, great lighting, decent on the textures, could be a bit sharper perhaps, but good enough, I just don't agree with the line above the flower, I have no idea what it is, sorry to say it does distract enough to hurt the score. Id do some spot editing and remove it. 5

I hardly ever like photographs of flowers, but this is a 'hardly ever' moment. It's no coincidence of course, that you chose the title you did. For the same reason, this lily is also the symbol of the Easter Rising of 1916 in Ireland, celebrated in WB Yeats's great poem of a 'terrible beauty' ΓΆ€“ Easter 1916:
"... We know their dream; enough
to know they dreamed and are dead.
And what if excess of love
bewildered them till they died?..."
