This is a nicer version than the other IMHO, very nice scene here, there is just enough sky, and the water looks crisp. HDR effects don't do well on snow, better without I think.

| Very nice composition, I like the clear stream and the grass that look like an animal's fur coat. Not a fan of HDR though, it makes me want to see what the image really looks like. |

Glad to see you are participating in this Bear. I like this very much. It has the "HDR" look that some would dislike but the full range of exposure it brings is wonderful in this shot. I love the leading line of the stream.
I don't know if this makes sense but I do find the negative space on the right competing for my attention all most as if the right and left sides are two seperate images. I'm going to have to come back to revist this one and sort that out :-)

| I think it is the way the grass divides and the tree's lean in this shot, though I do like HDR...and the colors are not flat, there is something "off" with them....over sharpened??? I am guessing...it is a good shot...but the colors seem to make it "odd" |

This is really strange, I'm looking at this pic and all the elements in it are nice, the sky, the water, the wavy effect in the grass, composition and exposure are good, yet I feel there's something wrong with it or something missing. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I keep looking at it and coming back to typing in the hope that I'll get it.
Perhaps it's the colours, they're not flat by any means, but they are a little samey. Could also be the sky, seems a little overprocessed compared to the rest. Sorry I can't be more descriptive, that's just how I feel about this shot :/ |

| It looks pretty nice "shot", technically (exposure, focus and so on its OK. The river and the trees, the grass and of course the sky are helping the eye to go around and travel through the picture. I am not sure though about the effect you used in post processing! |
