One of my bunnies (Pookie, The Best Bunny in the Whole Wide World) in an exceptionally silly hat I made years ago in bunny size. I went for a "studio" sort of calendar shot, but didn't want to do a traditional Easter bunny. I've actually shot calendars, even bunny ones, and I could see using this shot in one. But that's me ;-) Hoping some will appreciate a bit of silliness in the midst of what I expect/hope will be lots of shots that are amazingly gorgeous.
Actually shot outside with a backdrop draped over the chair he was sitting on. Sun was bright enough to cast a bit of a shadow from the hat; I liked this pose/expression better than the ones where I'd managed to move the hat and/or rabbit to avoid the shadow so most of my PP was evening out the lighting. Softened it a bit, too, since it's a bunny. Makes him look more feminine, too ;-)
PP - converted from RAW in Bibble Pro (mostly lighting adjustments), rotated slightly, cropped, levels, dodged shadows on bunny and eye catchlight, cloned/smudged out odd eye reflections, desaturated bunny, cloned background some to even it out and cloned it onto rear of bunny, Burnt background in places, 2nd layer (Gaussian blur, dodged bunny, merged in multiply mode), dodged/cloned/healed where needed, resized, sharpened. |

The crop feels a little tight here... the rabbit needs to breathe... |

sweet image, the bunny's nose seems a tad out of focus |

This honestly scared me a little when it popped up on the screen! That big brown eye in the center of the frame seems to be blaming me for the hat! I didn't make you wear it, little buddy! I'm having Holy Grail flashbacks now, thanks. |

The soft focus looks nice but might be a little too soft on the bunny. Overall a good set-up though. |

Too cute. But I wish the focus had been more on the bunny than on the hat. |

cute. I would have liked a like more depth of field to have the whiskers sharper. I don't mind softness elsewhere--it fits with the picture. But sharp whiskers would feel better. |

would have liked it better if the bunny's face was sharp and clear |
