It's very difficult to get basketball shots because of the indoor lighting and close space. It's a little strange having it cropped right at her ankles, and I think it would have been stronger either including the whole person on the right, or cropping her out. Also, the shadow from the flash on the ball is distracting. Might want to consider a faster lens and high ISO to avoid flash.

My suggestion is to crop it in tighter to remove the girl on the right and use a lower DOF so you hopefully wouldn't need that flash (it creates some strange shadows) and it would have blurred out the spectators a little more.

its a good display of 'action' though.
