 A panoramic view (about six shots, I think) from the lookout point across from the Wartburg castle. Helps if you click on the "view full size."

For Sara, and anyone else interested:

The pano was handheld - I just kept my eye on what's on one side and made sure I overlapped with the next shot. That particular one was shot in landscape mode, though it probably would have been more effective shot in portrait.

To stitch them together, I use Adobe Bridge - select all the shots you want to use (but don't open them - just highlight them), go to Tools, Photoshop, Photomerge. I used the first option - auto - and it works just fine. It doesn't take too long, but I do recommend if you wish to further process the pano in Photoshop, resize it to something reasonable first - it'll be huge!

It definitely needs to be viewed large to appreciate it - makes for a good pano. I haven't ever tried pghoto stitching - did you use a tripod? were the individual photos landscape or portrait orientation? what software did you use to stitch it all together? how long did the processing take?
