 Came up with the idea but then struggled to make it work photographically. Tried lots of different lighting and angles but I'm still not sure. However, I noticed that recently, a lot of front page stuff has had very dark backgrounds so in the end I suppose that's what influenced me.
The chocolate brand names will be well-known to people from the UK but I don't know about elsewhere.
The main plant is an orchid and the branch is from a tomato plant. The whole thing is held together with pins.
(My daughter took one look at it and said with some concern, "The chocolate will still be OK to eat afterward, won't it?")

I vote this one is blue ribbon and I'm pretty sure a biological impossiblity (after I spent the afternoon scouring my local garden center looking for an orchid with chocolates growing from a tomato stem). Very well executed.

Actually, I think I prefer the original plant better... at least to eat. But this looks cool, looks like it took a lot of time and effort to get right. Colors are great, lighting is good, and it's a clever idea.

technically sound shot, but leaves me puzzled how this fits into the challenge - oh, I think that is it :)
