 I wanted a visually arresting image with a little humour.

I'm estimating a return to form (but not a ribbon!) and an above 6 score for this one, although the humorous element may kill it. We'll see.

I put a lot of effort into producing the crossword and I had 3 different setups for the photo itself. I'm doing a similar thing for a seperate competition so I'm interested in technical feedback.

I'm a rookie but hooked. I feel the same as many of those words. I hope that DPC adds an automatic refresh button on the site for my lazy finger.

A clever DPC twist on a classic puzzle, but I think it leaves something to be desired. I love the stark white against the black, but I almost feel like I would like it better with a square frame and no tilt and no pen.

Clever. Thought the lighting is slightly graduated, it could have been even more so to make this a more interesting shot.
