 I'm not too happy with the way this came out. It seems the raw power of my swing shook everything out of focus, including the "stationary" stump. oh well.

Hey buddy, if you had used a faster shutter speed you could have froze the action and it would have been in better focus!

i think because the whole stump was shaking from the ax striking the log. in hind site, i should have composed the shot a lot differently, but i didn't really want to get myself in frame.

Nice idea, but without the title, I couldn't be sure it was an ax. Why is the grass the only ting in focus?
