Think it would work better to have pencil and text in foreground in focus and text receding in backround be blurred. 6

Depth of field has blurred the foreground letters and back of the pencil. Creative use of the theme.

I think I had this habit in grade school...the one about writing I will not... Nice Picture, great dof. Maybe deeper bite marks to emphasis the habit would make this stand out a little more. Still a good shot.

Really great idea, almost a 10, but I would have liked the paper to be a little whiter. maybe play with your light source a little more so the pencil really pops out at you. Otherwise, really great!

focus should be on the tip of the pencil and by keeping the same point of view it would create a better effect !
