Here in Iceland we have lots of small (and big) search & rescue teams that are completely run and funded by volunteers. Those teams make up a big part of emergency response. If interested - you can read more on //www.icesar.com/.

The model is Anna Guðný and this photo is taken when she was undertaking a test to become a full member of our team. Two minutes later she finished all the rope work and lowered herself down a steep gully before climbing back up. Needless to say she did great.

I like the blur across his back it shows a lot of action. And it gives a sense of urgency.

Ok I think he's on the side of a mountain? A different angle may have worked better... it looks like hes just bending over and grabbing a rope?

I took this into Photoshop and flipped it... I think it is stonger either upside down, or rotated 90degrees CW... It gives it a more impending sense of danger--from this view I couldn't really tell what was going on immediately.

I'm sure that in context, this image has more impact. As it is, I'm not really understanding what is happening.
