Well here is another set up that I like how it turned out but I'm sure that it will get bad marks. Thank godness that my pp classes starts next month. I like the noise that is in it, I think it gives texture to what otherwise some would say is a bland photo.

Critique Club Review:

Color Saturation and Hue: Colors are realistic, and hues are appropriate for the subject and the challenge.

Brightness and Contrast: Background is a nice clean white. Along the right side the feather seems to disappear into the background.

Focus and depth of field: Focus is nice and sharp at the upper left of the image. Depth of field feels a bit shallow, as the feather appears to get softer as the eye moves towards the bottom.

Subjective: The way the feather softens and disappears into the background on the right side, competes with the more sharply defined left. With the bright white background, the negative space on the right is competing a bit with the subject on the left. The part of the image I like best is the detail in the upper left. However the eye is pulled down and to the right, taking the focus away from the best part of the image.

The noise in the image does not bother me, but the feather does not seem to reflect the intended title. With the softness at the lower right of the feather, it almost looks like motion blur which if true would have indicated that the feather was rising.

Can not visual that the feathers are pointing up to show that it is falling!!!

On my screen, this looks grainy or oversharpened to me. Part of the beauty in feathers is the delicate lines, but it looks like some of it is lost here.
