If those walls could talk... I love the blur and placement of the sweet spot. So nice, and the b/w (as always with you) is perfect for the image. |

That lensbaby, Nik filter, and B&W sure make for a great combo. Good find and it all makes me want to enter the scene and explore. |

Lensbaby at it's best. There are ghosts in there. I know it. |

You sure started this side challenge in a great way. Cheat all you want with images like this... I LOVE it... the holga effect is perfect for the subject. |

Love the Nik effects, but they're so darn expensive. This has a sinister feel to it. |

You must have been out and about with Mephisto! You know, the abandoned buildings and all. The LB gives this a really interesting look, as though you are peering through a window or something. Nice |

I like the creepy aspect to this as well. And the centered, tall leafless tree/window work nicely as the point of focus. |

Wow ! Looks like the lair of a serial killer, very creepy! I think the blur adds to this creey feeling - sort of like someone sneaking up on you, |

I love this Deb. I have to admit I haven't really caught on to the Lensbaby craze as much as some, but you have really used it here to enhance the photo. Its not so much blur that the photo just looks blurry. The lensbaby effect adds alot to this. |

This definitely has some major history behind it. The Lensbaby gives this an eerie quality and moves the eyes to the set of windows...not unlike the pans in Hitchcock's Psycho. The movement in this is surreal and it's very much alive. Gives me the chills. Excellent portrayal!!!!!

The LB just heightens the sense of abandonment - I like the choice of just simple b&w processing here. |

This is one of those shots that is better than it looks. Don't take that the wrong way; I mean that it rewards a bit of extra time looking and thinking. Maybe I am biased because you said where it is, but I can see the ghosts of some very sad memories here. It has a hint of a despairing feel to it, not so much in the building, but in the ghosts. |

What a great way to start off the month. I love your lensbaby shots. I may have to cheat with some blur this month and use that action that tries to duplicate it, since I don't have the lens. YAY, Deb. Look forward to more of your great work. I was telling someone the other day how much you have grown as an artist. I'm proud to know ya. |

I love how the two blurred windows on the left move me right to that dark window...I feel like a little girl creeping up on an abandoned and haunted building with intent to enter, and my friend just gave me a big shove in the back to egg me on...excellent use of the lensbaby! |

Very cool shot, you most certainly get the sense of it being abandoned. I'm gonna have to check out the Nik stuff. |
