 Thanks for all the comments, glad you liked it too. It does remind me so much of my dog and I long to stroke it, but it is dune grass - on the Northumbrian coast.

Quite beautiful. This grass looks a bit like the hair of a scruffy dog, but if I push that idea aside it's a lovely atmospheric image.

Wind-swept dune grass per title, shaggy pet fur per initial inspection. Black and white treatment acheives a level of abstration that is multiplied by lack of familiar object to establish the size. Holds interest well.

great b/w conversion and the texture adds a nice feel to the image. I would have perhaps cropped a bit lower.
