 Got the wings at a costume store, but wanted white for the white on white challenge. But the store was out of white ones. Started snowing today after a high of 68 yesterday. Strange weather, strange shot, I'm sure it will score...strangely.

I am so pleased that some thought this was a Coley, and I will admit being inspired by the work, but I think my image is not as symbolic as those. I had the wings for a different set up (with a black horse) in the snow and on a whim asked my son to pose...just in case. Good thing because the wings on the black horse failed, as we have some "kinks" to work out. Need a new pair of wings now as the ones on the horse lasted about 30 seconds...maybe I can borrow some from Coley!

Nice twist on what some may think should be white. Like the dark side presented here. The snow really adds to the shot. Lots of mystery, creativity and feeling. 9

Very nice, but it is kind of distracting how the wings are so tilted that the left one is lost in the figure.

Nice setting, i love the depth of field. The theme of girl in black angel wings has been done a lot, but I can't just write this off because of that. The detailing of the snow in the foreground and background combined with an interesting, tighter composition works very well.
