 Lancaster Co, Pa, about 1980. I went there on vacation, to see snow.
Shot with a Canon TX and 24mm FD lens, Kodak Plus X 125 iso film. hand held.
Home processed and printed at 5X7, scanned for the March Film S C.

The lines draw you across the landscape so nicely, kind of like skiing ;)

great composition and even better atmosphere! somehow reminds me of the huertgen forest or bastogne, has the haunting feeling to it

nice composition and good exposure. my goal this month is to finally teach myself to hand-develop black and white film. going to go the scanner route, though - no room or time to learn home-printing.

I have to chuckle thinking about a Floridian (?) visiting PA in the gray of winter to see snow. Although not so gray in this shot! I can't wait until spring arrives!

nice curves and lines! i'd be interested to know what paper this was printed on (you scanned this from the print not from the neg no?) because the tones look really harsh, as you would see them from a multigrade V paper...

Pretty cool lines. This has a lot of depth to it and is well composed. Looks like this now, (today) we had some snow overnight.
