 Wow! this week was a marathon. I had a different idea for this challenge, and I just didn't pull it off to my satisfaction, so here is concept number 2.

I'm a bit worried about DNMC votes this week, but I think that the skin is a major element in this image, so I hope not.

Raw conversion - exposure adjustment
Curves - increased highlights, midtone contrast and darkened shadows
Brightness/contrast
Auto Levels
Added border
Resized to 1280 pixels wide
USM at 170 or so
Resized to 640 pixels wide

I like the composition, title and idea. The white background is a little "too" white, loosing definition of the seeds.
