| Nice colours, the vignette effect works well. The main subject is in focus and its colour contrasts well with the background to give that "brightness bursting out of the drab" feel. The green shoots bottom right give the shot some balance and a reference for the flower. Very nicely done. |

VERY nicely done. I love the tones in the background. And the frame is perfect. (I hate commenting on frames but this one really works.)
My favorites in this challenge are the ones that are more dependent on mood and feel, like this one. |

| The daffodil looks a little dreary and hunched over for me to see "hopeful" in it, but it's a beautiful photo. |
