 Egret perched on the roof of Brophy Brothers Restaurant (I recommend it highly!) (The restaurant, not perching on the roof!!) on the Breakwater.

Blue and aqua channels manipulated in B&W conversion.

This is just too cool - love the negative space. I like that slightly brighter diagonal behind the egret going across the photo.

This is superb. And I'll echo the recommendation for Brophy's - great clam chowder. And I never knew there was an aqua channel in a B&W conversion? Truly a gorgeous image.

Normally, I would say.. too much lost space. But this image works! The egret is ruler of his kingdom! Great capture.

As I was in the tub I was thinking (I really was) "heh, is Germaine in this month's side challenge?" and I come to the computer and VOILA. YAY for that egret. I think they are so delicate. Love the blur.

Yes this bird almost looks surreal. Great job with the overall processing, especially the B&W conversion.

I egret that my egret photos are always blurry too. LOL! Just kidding! Nice conversion. He looks almost like an impression or ghost. Really cool shot!
