Are you thinking of allusion? |

I love hibiscus but fail to see the illusion. |

I don't quite see the illusion, and your title doesn't help. the photo is too centered and thus not interesting...good luck - zadore |

Really stretching the challenge here, you might have got away with it if the picture was sharper. Oh well, it was a tough one. |

Looks like the depth of field is wrong. Some leaves in the back are in focus while the flower is blurry. Not sure how this ties into this week's challenge (yes I read the title). 5 |

oh come on. And your focus seems to be the twig and small leaf immediatly under the flower. |

Hmmm. Do you mean "allusion"? In that case it would mean to hint or reference without showing the object in question. Sorry, I think you missed it on this one. As far as the photo goes, the shadow across the petals is distracting and the focus is on the bottom branch rather than the flower. Not sure if you meant it that way, but I think it would be more effective if the flower was sharp. 3 kathleenm |

I looked for quite a while here and can't determine what the illusion is... This photo also needs some focus.. As l looked for the illusion, i can see that dsome of the green leaves behind your flower are in focus, but the flower itself is not... - setzler |

Some leaves and stem are more in focus then the flower! Seems a bit of a stretch for this challange. |

this photo is let down a bit by focus and lack of illusion, other than that its fantastic. 2 |

Yes, but a shame that the focus is a couple of cm behind the flower. |

beautiful attempt, but your focal point is a little south. also try using a wider apeture setting to drown out the stems. |
