He was acting goofy and so I rotated the image to make him up and down. I had an overlay of a wall and a scratchy layer and when I melded them together, Jack Nicholson in "The Shining" immediately came to mind.

I like the grainy feel of the image.. its adds to the overall horror genra you captured here.. the line of shadow through the boy's smile and eye is a nice touch..

I'm certainly getting that "Shining" moment. Good job on the processing and I like that grain, and I'm normally not a big fan of grain.

Judy, It's nice to see a smile on that boy's face.

Too much life and laughter in those gorgeous eyes and mouth for spooky, I love it. Fantastic shot and editing.

the wall texture and shadow on the face has a sinister aspect but that magnetic beautiful single eye makes this a contradiction.
an amazing collection opposing images. excellent work!

Great work Judy. This is a cool tribute to The Shining. I have to say that that movie was one of the best imo too.

Creepy cool! The truly psychotic can always project a convincing smile (not that he is)! LOL! Your processing is fantastic!

Nice, Judy - he looks too happy to be evil, though. Love the use of overlays.

I really like the combination of the soft round lines of Grayson's face with the harsh square lines of the wall incasing him. Kinda creepy but also kinda cute!

Nah, he looks too sweet to be evil, even with all the grunge! Really a great smile.

One of my all time favorite horror movies. The majority of them today really are horrifically bad! Nice combination of grain, texture and tones.

This is truly amazing, I love what you did here! I was reading your comment and you're right, it does have an aura of The Shining. It's also very surreal. An excellent work of art!
