 One of the coolest guys I know, my 97-yr-old uncle He was a nurse in WWII, serving in France and Italy, and took up farming after the war because that's what was available.
At 96 he gave up most of his one-acre garden, not because he couldn't manage it any longer but because he couldn't give away enough of the produce.
He's still sharper of wit and fitter of body than I am, and we all love him dearly. And it's only within the past 5 years that he finished going grey!

And I agree about the light. This was a quick snapshot because he really would rather not have his picture taken, and I didn't see anything I could quickly grab for use as a reflector :( I'm surprised it came out as well as it did!

Very nice natural light portrait (though, to nitpick, I wish it had a bit more light bounced on the dark side). His character really shines through.
