For some reason I keep taking pictures of this porch as I drive by...I would've expected more blur but I guess my aim was steady for a change, lol.
Processing was to convert to B&W with Silver Efex Pro, then a bit of burning around the edges, resize and usm.
Here is another view of this porch from a while back; as you can see there have been some changes.

Very nice...The light is great drawing attention to the fact that much doesn't stir...

Dont'chew want me baby? LOL! Reminds me of the swiffer commercials where the mop or broom are hiding outside watching the lady clean inside. Excellent use of light and shadows here!

Oh, this is wonderful!! Love the light/contrast here and really like the story of the couple who live here - they've been together a long time. I don't care whether or not it really is a couple, that's the story I get from this and I quite love it.

Reduced to light and texture. And a mop! (Say, you didn't borrow that from Goodman?)

Very primitive.. this would work for the 100 Years Old challenge. It has a very rustic feel, lots of character in this old porch.

Love the contrast in this one. Also like the b&w conversion, very nicely done. (big fan of Silver Efex myself).

Perfect light to shoot this. The angle of the sun accentuates the great texture on the walls and casts beautiful long shadows from all the stuff on the porch. Very nice! : )

why is that mop there?
great tonality-in addition to the mop the chairs gives this meaning.

For a drive-by shooting, this is so very sharp. There is great light here, it really brings out the textures.

Great lighting and framing of subject on this. Love the tone you processed it with, too.

Striking! Love the stark contrast and the lines - very compelling, even thought there's no blur :op

I like that one chair's back is diff although otherwise, they are the same, and the mop just hangs out to keep them company. Beautiful light and shadow play as well as tonal range. Funny when you WANT blur and can't achieve it. LOL
