Good use of leading lines. The crop works very well to emphasize the leading lines and eliminate most of what seems to be a bright sky.
A wide range between highlights and shadows is always a challenge to capture. Some of the shadows are lacking detail and some of the hightlights on the right seem a bit blown out, however the overall contrast of the image is good.
The colours look natural and blend together well. The soft focus gives a dreamy feel to the image.
Even though the roofline at the top is level with the edge of the frame, the image still feels a bit tilted to the right.
Keep shooting.

This photo was actually very sharp throughout the shot, until I put on a soft-focus blur effect... guess I was a bit too clumsy with it! |

Lovely shot..very well suited to the challenge..I don`t think "Neat Image"? does it justice though as it adds an unnatural grey shade to the shadow areas of the picture.
I think this would be a ribbon winner if it was pin sharp.
Good work

Great shot, I just wish the DOF covered the whole scene, and the light weren't quite so harsh. Still very good for this challenge, however. |

Excellent Idea, this definately draws one down into the center of the picture. Gets a little fuzzy near the center, to draw me completely into the center I would like to see it a little sharper near the arches. Still a very good picture. |

Nice composition with good framing and leading lines. I think this photo would be better if it had been taken with a much smaller aperture (greater f-stop) and longer shutter speed. The small aperture would improve the depth of field anhd made the structure at the rear sharp, and the slow shutter speed would have blurred the fountain into nice, soft lines. |
