 Dissecting a timber wolf at UWSP Carnivore Ecology
These wolves were killed by farmers who had permission to trap and kill due to the damage they had been doing to their livestock. Their carcasses were then donated instead of being thrown away.


Hopefully no one is offended by the insides of a wolf, it was a grand learning experience.

Lets see how many people discourage the blur of the arm.

Can't wait to see the comments on this one. As I took a bite of my sandwich for lunch, this pops up. =) interesting take on the challenge. Not sure if you were going for shock value but none-the-less, the photo was shot well. Decent lighting, ok focus and the colors seem to be good. Again, interesting shot. 6

The person in the background with their hand near their mouth adds a very human element to the rest of the shot. The foreground material, while quite disturbing (to me), is well captured. I find it unique that the examiners appear very sterile - no blood anywhere on them.

The problem with this photo is that the skin is not really the main focus of the picture. I believe you will get voted down for the theme. Interesting take, but it doesn't really work.
