| Excellent landscape, I so like the little tanker in the way back! It gives it a touch of human, that works really nicely in this case. I think this was one of the best landscapes entered to the challenge. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... this was one of the few images I scored a 10. One of my criteria for scoring a 10 is "Would I have this photo on my wall?" and for this one, I surely would.
Quite a lot of sea shore photos with brooding skys in this challenge. This is on of the standout images in that style, and indeed a challenger for the best image of the challenge. Simply awesome! |

| Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. The angry sky rolls across the wide expanse of blue while the waves thunder and crash upon the craggy shore. This is the impression I get as I watch the forces of nature at work in your shot. Very beautiful and scenic shot of this beach - while beautiful I feel the calm before a storm for I see rain bands far off in the distance to the left of the composition. There is one other human element that chooses to brave Mother Nature's display (aside from us the viewer) and that is the lone oil tanker that I see far off into the distance. Of course that could be an island in which case I am very wrong:-) Love the capture of a moment in time as the water crashes upon the rocks and we see the explosive spray in fine detail. Colors and detail are wonderful. Great job on this seascape capture. |

| This is my favorite seascape/landscape shot from the challenge. All of the elements are here and wonderfully presented. I also like the tanker/cargo ship in the distance, I'd sometimes be tempted to clone that out but really like it here. (non voter) |

| A perfect title for this shot. I love what you did with the spray. Love the point of convergence between the sky and the land. Whitecaps really draw the eye further out to the see. Incredible detail on the foreground pebbles. |

The waves on the rocks are like small fireworks; the details of the rocks, the sea with greenish blue tones and the heavy sky are simply amazing.
Technically there's nothing to say, the result is wonderful !

| Yowza! Composition is just right, and it is a beautiful scene, my only complaint is that the foreground looks like day and the sky looks like night, just doesn't come together as a congruous scene for me. |

| I scored this pretty high. the only thing that is bothering me is, the clouds on the upper right. Too dark, hopefully that wasn't done it processing. If it was natural than what can you do. |

| That burst of wave is pretty sweet. It almost gets tiring seeing so many shots that use the absurdly slow shutter speed to completely smooth out the water. It's refreshing to see some water detail. |

| I am not particularly fond of the black bars at top/bottom that seem to be so popular nowadays, I think they take away from the grace of the image, but it is a very beautiful image and nicely processed. |
