 This picture has probably been taken a million times over, but I was pleased with my attempt. This was in June, after final exams for the college kids. They were out on this lawn drinking wine and celebrating the end of the semester. My talked with them for hours about different lives.
Taken in shutter priority at 8 sec @ f7. It is during the hourly light show, but at the slow shutter, all the lights appear to be on instead of flickering.

Beautiful building, and photo. The lights are incredible. Not that you can do anything about it, but that one bright street light is the only drawback.

Ah, Paris, I love sitting on that lawn with a bottle of wine. I've seen this light show from the air, it's fantastic. Great timing on this shot.

i suspect that you have over exposed the highlights the mids and shadows are missing a bit.

OK, this is a huge missed opportunity. You should of moved to the right a bit more to centralise the tower. It just looks all rather snapshotty to me.
