There's nice DOF in this and good composition but it's lacking something for me, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what it is... I think perhaps there's not enough emotion displayed for me.

I have no banana's for you, for you. Cute monkeys.

this would probably require some basic enhancement like levels , wb balance and also, its shame that the dof is so flat that the monkey behind the front one is not sharp :/

four from me sorry ;D

take care,
brano

They look bored. A bit dark on their faces. The one in the foreground looks deep in thought.
03/16/2009 12:52:37 AM
Nice pose.
03/15/2009 08:41:58 PM
Good capture!

A very creative title for a very interesting photo.
03/15/2009 04:24:29 PM
Nice dof and a simple composition. Image is rather self explanatory.
03/15/2009 12:23:57 PM
good use of dof
03/15/2009 12:03:39 PM
Nice clarity and focus on the one in front.
03/15/2009 08:58:58 AM
great dof - well done
03/15/2009 02:14:58 AM
needs a little fill flash
03/14/2009 10:06:41 PM
cute title, nice profile shot
03/14/2009 08:14:07 PM
The back M could be in focus to help.
03/14/2009 05:28:27 PM
Not that you could do anything about it but if that monkey in the back were making eye contact it would have been a wow image. I don't feel any connection to this with no eye contact.

Such wisdom. Love the highlights on the beard.
03/14/2009 01:00:16 PM
I love the anthropomorphic quality of monkeys. They are always great to look at.
03/14/2009 09:07:57 AM
I think the second monkey is plotting to take the banana!
03/13/2009 10:07:52 PM
Nice depth
03/13/2009 09:45:32 PM
Hehe, funny title. Contrast could be higher, though I fear that would make the shot fake. The subjects are clear. Careful of over-sharpening. 6

Excellent study.
03/13/2009 02:23:12 PM
Your point of view makes them seem ... wise, maybe.
03/13/2009 01:26:10 PM
OOF and could use some tweaking editing-wise.
03/12/2009 10:50:22 PM
Great monkeys. I like the quiet colors and the face of the upper one.
03/12/2009 07:52:16 PM
Nice detail on the foreground monkey. Nice natural light.
03/12/2009 05:06:40 PM
Good shot and focus.
03/12/2009 11:20:06 AM
Nice job capturing the pensive look.
03/12/2009 09:58:57 AM
Very nice
03/12/2009 01:02:56 AM
I love that he is looking away.
03/11/2009 08:10:45 PM
the first one looks like the "elder" great focus a little dark although
03/11/2009 07:47:14 PM
They look old and wise.
03/11/2009 06:50:44 PM
Its a pretty picture, but I think the colours could be improved.
03/11/2009 05:18:26 PM
too bad the main subject gets lost in the background of the second monkey.
03/11/2009 02:40:51 PM
lol

03/11/2009 09:11:35 AM
wise look from the guy in front, obviously planning a banana assault!
03/11/2009 08:23:22 AM
looks like a wise old monkey

nice shot
03/11/2009 12:46:05 AM
The Monkey in the back looks as though he found the Banana. =) Nice DoF with the tree. Like the light on the Monkeys face in the front. Good focus, I'm able to see the difference in the color of his/her fur.
