Not an easy picture. My dog can't still for a minute but he did good. Just testing my new 12-24 Sigma lens. It is awesome and I recommend it to everyone.

Its a fine photo. I think it would have been improved if you could have eliminated the house in the background. An all green background with a different colored subject can be striking (Especially if the background is out of focus).

This picture would garner a higher score in an animal theme, but here
it isn't centered enough. Having it face the camera and not 3/4 like it is here,
would help big time. It's a nice clear picture of a cute dog, but just isn't
centered enough. And to really have it centered, have the dog further back from the camera instead of filling up so much space. This would further emphasize
the centeredness of the dog.
Still a good clear pic though, so I give it a 6.

Beautiful animal. I know how difficult it can be to get pet pictures. Very clear. Don't you wonder what they think about us?

Cute dog, I'm presuming that's his home behind him, so I like the context that the background provides. It's a little too much like a snapshot for my taste, something imaginative needs to happen here to make it more than just a personal pet photo.

Nice portrait of your pal, however the background is a bit distracting. To blur it more, use a larger aperture (smaller number). Cropping a little more on the right would probably balance the image a bit better. 5

theres nothing too special about this shot.

A blurred background would have worked better. Background is distracting as it is.

nice shot - and I'm not generally fond of pet shots. I'd probably have centered on the eye for dead center, but still, I'm giving a 7.
