I would have preferred a more distinct silhoutte with the horse and the rider. I am not comfortable with too much shadow areas. , 6

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. GREAT silhouette of this cowboy riding his horse back to the barn after a hard days work. With the tilt of the head, he takes a quick look skyward to see the emerging moon or quite possibly a stray calf or cow on a hillside. That is the story that I read from just looking at the picture. Love the colors and the mood conveyed in this composition.

Can you say Louis L'Amour or Zane Grey? Riding through the sage, Tom pulled up a minute to gaze at the crimson sunset. Though he'd come West more than a decade ago, he had never tired of the open sky and grand spectacle of the sun's fond farewell to the day. Shaking his head, he urged his horse towards home.

I like the way he and the horse begin to merge with the foreground making them a part of the land, not just visitors passing by.

I kind of want to say it needs more detail or contrast but I kind of like it soft to. haha. Its very natural looking and I like that. The frame I can do without tho.
