I like the muted colours here but do wonder how it looks in black and white? I read the comments about cropping out the sky but think both the sky and angle help the image say more than a straight tight shot without the sky.

Nice shot but I have to agree with croping the top of the photo.

Cool shot. It looks like someone tried to paint the America flag on the side of the building but got mixed-up. Just a suggestion, but you might want to crop out the sky and focus on the brick wall and the geometry.

The "dim view" look of the pinhole is a good fit for it - the dilapidated condition of the building and the pinhole fuzzies lends a sense of melancholy to the image.

An interesting shot, I do love how old brick buildings have remnants of old paintings on their side, faded but still lingering.

I've looked at this a number of times and think that it took a good eye to recognize this scene. Almost looks like a double exposure at first glance. Nice.

That's beautiful. It takes some unravelling, which is of course a good thing. The patch of blue, the bars effect and the high wall all together made me think of a prison. But I think it's only a figurative prison.
